A Star-Studded Romantical Movie

Morning kids,

We’ve all got that guilty pleasure when it comes to lame movies right? Like for each genre there’s a flick that you just can’t turn away from even though you’d be ridiculously embarrassed to say so in any other person’s presence. Well, that’s how I would introduce this latest trailer for the romantic flick appropriately named The Romantics. This could possibly be a guilty pleasure – but probably nothing more. Again, I’ve been wrong many times in my life (in fact I think I’ve been wrng like 15 times this morning alone) and The Romantics might be a run away hit… But who are we kidding here.

With a cast that rivals Valentines Day in terms of recognizable names, but outweighs it in the talent column, The Romantics brings familiar faces likes Candice Bergman (Murphy Brown? No Way!), Katie Holmes, Malin Ackerman, Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel (the army guy from Transformers), Adam Brody (Seth from the OC) and Eli Wood (Weird…) to the screen for one gigantic romantic smorgasbord…

Judging from the trailer, The Romantics looks like a Rat Pack style love story about friendship incest…. Awkward……
