Mid Season Finales
Dec 10th
This whole concept of stopping all regular TV shows over the holidays is starting to get on my nerves. I had just started to get a rhythm down for which shows I would watch on which nights and all of a sudden all of them start going on 3 month hiatuses. I’m sure I could find something else to watch in the meantime, but all that does is add to already full schedule when everything returns.
Okay Okay, I’m basically complaining for the sake of complaining with this, but as I was watching the mid season finale of Glee last evening (great More >
Reviewing Flash Forward
Sep 28th
First up, I agree with ABC when they allude to the fact that once LOST is over, their stronghold on the niche market of sci-fi and dramatic mystery fans will be all but gone. I agree with the fact that something on the network should be able to absorb some fans into a new show, but right now, I really don’t think that show is Flash Forward. Anyways, I’ve been putting off my review of the season premier of Fringe for a little while because I needed some things to soak in. Not More >
Fillion’s Castle
Jun 3rd
I’ve gone and done it again – I picked up yet another show I’m going to have to follow come next TV season. The other night the gf and I plopped ourselves in front of the TV for 10 hours and watched the entire first season of Castle starring Nathon Fillion (Captain Hammer, Mal). The drama/comedy follows a crime writer as he researches for his latest book by shadowing a NYC detective. The concept seems simple and probably over-used, but the heart of the show isn’t really the crimes – its the relationship between Castle (the writer) and Beckett (the cop).
