True Blood Mythology Infographic
Sep 20th
Morning all,
So I was poking around Screenrant this morning (great resource by the way) and they’ve posted this little doozy to help True Blood fans (and non-fans) understand all of the different creatures in the series. With the fourth season coming to an end a couple of weeks ago on HBO, we’re left with so much more than just vampires. So far we’ve seen Vamps, Werewolves, Shapeshifters, Witches, Fairies….. The list goes on. Thankfully we’ve now got this to help us out.

Casting for Zebras
Nov 9th
Time for a little bit of obscure casting news for a flick that’s probably not going to get a ton of hype. Hopefully Zebras will catch on with a North American audience based on the story, but if not, it looks like they’ve got an attractive cast leading the way. Before I get into who is going to be in this flick, Zebras is about a music producer who discovers a talented group of soccer players in the ghetto of Soweto (which would have been a nice title if you think about it…). Similar to sports flicks like Remember The Titans and Hardball, and to More >
Snoop & Sookie
Sep 3rd
Okay, you know what’s strange? If I went ahead and made a rap video/song about a TV character and threw it up on YouTube I’d be thrust into the category of Creepy/Strange/Outlandish and pretty much anything and everything that would land me a segment on Dateline as a predator… But that’s just me and I’m not Snoop Dogg.
So I guess the rules are these. If you smoke a ton of weed, become an internationally renowned hip-hop star, call yourself a pimp and forget how to spell simple words like “Dog” then I guess you wouldn’t get categorized as anything but cool.

Morning Kids!
Yes, I’ve been extremely MIA in the last week or two but for good reason. I went home for a few days for some R&R and some thinking and I’ve returned to Toronto refreshed and ready to go! Go with what you ask? Well, I’m not really sure at this point because I basically only wrote that to get myself pumped up about going back to work – which is always a drag coming off vacation. In any case, it’s good to be back and to everyone out there who was wondering when I was going to post again More >
True Blood Season 3 Promo
May 18th
As the end of the main television season comes to an end for 2009-2010, you might think some of us avid picture box enthusiasts would be a little bit depressed. I can understand why, I mean the second season of Fringe is winding down this week with what is setting up to be an amazing finale, Castle and his murder mystery solving words are coming to an end for this season and even shows lower on the food chain are closing out like Smallville, Gossip Girl, Bones and How I Met Your Mother. So what are we supposed to do when the sun More >
True Blood Ends, GG Returns
Sep 16th
This week has been a little bit strange in the wonderful world of television as some of the Fall season premiers have already begun, while the Summer of True Blood comes to an end. I really like how HBO did that – putting True Blood on in the Summer time. They know people will watch and I have a feeling the second season will be available for DVD just as that Winter holiday rolls around. It’s also great for the viewer like myself who doesn’t get out much. It gives me something to watch that isn’t a rerun of Friends or one More >
True Blood to reveal Queen Sophie-Ann
Aug 27th
If you’ve been following True Blood up until last Sunday then you’ll be excited to hear that Evan Rachel Wood will be playing the Vampire Queen Sophie-Ann. At the end of Sunday’s episode we saw Bill scurry away to some posh house only to have the episode end before the Queen is revealed. Well, as I’m sure many of you are aware of, the part is being played by Evan Rachel Wood from The Wrestler and the upcoming Spiderman Musical (more on that in a sec). Like most Vampire lore, age is simply a number. Vampires never, “get old looking,” so casting the right part More >
Deborah Ann Woll AKA Jessica
Aug 5th
As stated many times before, I’m a big True Blood fan. There’s something about watching an HBO show with amazingly good looking people that basically do nothing but fight and have sex all the time. Mix in some supernatural and you’ve got a hit – or in this case Alan Ball‘s True Blood. At the conclusion of last season we saw Bill Compton “make” another vampire as a punishment for killing one of his own. Although he never got to choose the victim, I’m glad the other vampires went with Jessica Hamby. As season two rolls along we’re getting to know Jessica more More >
