Spock Says Goodbye Tonight
May 20th
Star Trek, Fringe and Leonard Nemoy enthusiasts will say a sad goodbye to the original Vulcan himself as his final screen performance will air tonight in the second half of the season finale of Fringe. I have to admit, I’m a little sad at the news. I thought he did a wonderful job as Spock in the new Star Trek and although Belly is really only in Fringe for like a total of 15 minutes, it still sticks out in my mind. In any case, the second part of the2-part finale tonight should be a great one.
As we learned last week, Peter has been abducted More >
Slightly Disappointed With Summer 09 Movies So Far
Jul 12th
I have to admit, I’m not totally sold on all of the flicks that have come out this summer. Last night I popped out and watched Bruno expecting it to steal some of the laughter that other summer movies have failed to garner, but I guess it just wasnt’ meant to be. So far my plate has consisted of:
Transformers 2 – lame
Public Enemies – long
Bruno – too much genetalia
Terminator Salvation – McG didn’t get it
On the other hand, there have been three flicks that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Up! – Amazing
Star Trek – Wonderful Entertainment
Hangover – 2009 Hit
So basically what I’m saying is that the success More >
Seattle Recap Part III
Jun 11th
I missed yesterday cause well… It was so damn nice out and I tried my hardest to stay outside. For all 2 of you that are actually interested in my daily life (thanks mom) I apologize. Now, back to the Seattle recap.
The final day in Seattle we reserved to be complete tourists. I’ve done this before in other cities, but knowing myself all too well, I knew that I could really only take one day of it. We woke up pretty early and headed down to Pike Market again for our daily brekky. Nothing beats fresh baked goods and the smell of More >
Best of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards
Jun 1st
Living in Canada we’re always given free access to, bush-league content when it comes to things like music television. Yes we have a couple of channels “devoted” to it by ways of a little channel called Much Music, but the bottom line is that everything MM is second string. So when Much decides to yank some of the American content floating around on the air its quite an event, just like last night’s 2009 MTV Movie Awards. This year’s awards were hosted by Andy Samberg (Dick in a Box, Mother Lover, Hot Rod, ect.) and was everything you’d expect. Here’s a More >
Getting Lost For Like 3 Hours Tonight
May 13th
Normally I hate it when a series devotes and entire episode to flash backs or summaries so newbie fans can get caught up, but with a series like Lost, I almost appreciate it. Tonight marks the fifth season finale of the series and included with the 2-hour episode is a 1-hour recap show (they’ve done this a few times over the years so people don’t get too confused). I don’t think I’d ever feel comfortable reviewing a series like this because there are so many elements, but maybe once I devote my life to sitting through the entire series when More >

Yup… I’m a nerd and this is why

Morning kids,
I got this in my Inbox this morning and it was a better shock to the system than the sludge I call coffee here in the office. No, it’s not some kind of report, or screen shot of a design sample. It’s not an executive decision that will change the face of the company. A friend of mine did not send me pictures of some Hollywood starlet accidentally showing off some nipple. This is way more important. This is something that I think everyone should experience at least once today (cause I’ve watched it like 4 times already and More >
