A little while ago I made myself a promise. I promised myself I would stop following spoiler sites and rumours and try as hard as I can to be surprised when it comes to movies. I made this decision based on all of the rumours and leaked information coming out of Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers and of course, The Amazing Spiderman. Well, it’s been about 3 months of purposely living in a hole, so yesterday I came up for air to catch the latest trailer for Marc Webb’s Amazing Spiderman.

Morning all,
So yesterday morning I posted a whole whack load of photos from Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spiderman (I’m sure if you’ve seen them then you know that I blatantly took them straight from EW’s website mwahahahaha). Well, yesterday afternoon gave Spidey fans another huge nugget of excitement – the trailer for The Amazing Spiderman is now out and ready for mass fan consumption. Have a looksie!
The Amazing Spiderman Looks Pretty Amazing

All I have to say about the Spiderman Reboot at this point is, I’m diggin’ it so far. The cast sounds pretty good, I don’t have any complaints about Marc Webb and the new title “The Amazing Spiderman,” and a brand new image of the suit are only making this look better.
I’m not completely bought into it yet because I haven’t heard anything about the story, but I will say that this is looking pretty amazing so far.

It was recently announced that Rescue Me star and creator Dennis Leary would be taking up the role of George Stacy in the new Spiderman movie set to enter production within the next few months. In case you’re been living in a dark hole these past few months, director Marc Webb is directing a brand new Spiderman feature film that will have no relation to the three previous flicks destroyed by Kirsten Dunst. Martin Sheen As Uncle Ben

Looks like the principle cast for the Spiderman reboot by Marc Webb is almost complete as the news of Martin Sheen playing Uncle Ben came down the wire yesterday. So to date that gives us Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey (although I think she looks a little more like MJ…) and Rhys Ifans as some kind of villain and now Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben. I guess that leaves Aunt May.

So I’ll be the first to admit, I was completely wrong on the matter of Emma Stone taking the role of Mary Jane in the new Spiderman flick. It turns out that Marc Webb (director of the new Spiderman flick) has gone on record to say:
