Let The Games Begin!
Feb 16th
Okay, so the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games (Woo Hoo SEO) officially started last week, but tonight marks the first ‘game.’ I’m speaking of course of the greatest and most talked about hockey event… EVER. With that French skier bouncing his way to Gold already breaking the curse, all eyes now turn to Canada’s Olympic Mens Hockey Team (or as I refer to them as, Stevie’s Kids).
I’ve been reading predictions, expectations, quotes and stats about Stevie’s Kids for like 4 years now, but as of this evening, the talking and predicting will end and the games will begin. I’ve written a few More >

Okay Mr Shane Koyczan – you’ve got a new fan. Where was this buy when they filmed all those Molson Beer commercials?

all the great themes get swallowed up by the machine
and turned into theme parks

Not only does it complete the full circle of the brand of Hockey Canada, it lets the kids actually playing in the WJCC see what they could eventually achieve in their careers. The other high note for me is the way Stevie Y picked this team. It was almost as More >
I Don’t Know Who I’m More Embarrassed For

Pepsi or The Oympics.
I watch a lot of Hockey Night in Canada. When you have no cable and you have to stream all of your media from a laptop screen, the options are quite limited. Because of this I’m forced to endure a ton of terrible ad campaigns and embarrassing ideas that come out of consistently weak creative market (my gripes with CBC are well document here).
Well here’s the latest and possibly the worst of the bunch. If you watch Hockey Night in Canada, then you can probably tell where I’m going with this already. Pepsi in conjunction with Facebook is running a More >
