Holy New Trailers Batman (Minus the Batman)
Apr 30th
Lots of stuff premiered last week in terms of trailers, but my favourite two I’ll embed for ya’ll right here.
Check out the latest trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. Although the name of the flick is mouthful, the action seems pretty damn good. I’ve seen all of the Potter flicks and I have to say, I like how the series has grown; not just in terms of the story which is always great, but also in style. We’ve gone from family fun flick on a Sunday afternoon with the toddlers to full-on action explosiony goodness! Check More >
I Am Number 4 Trailer
Oct 26th
You’d think being 4th would be considered kind of a bummer. In Olympic terms you didn’t even get the ugly medal (ZING! I apologize). But the trailer for I Am Number 4 looks pretty cool. I like low-key sci-fi action flicks a lot. They’re the type of flicks you can turn on during the day on a weekend and just have on in the background. They’re fun and exciting at times and usually play onĀ televisionĀ for free pretty soon after being released.
Well, I Am Number 4 looks to be in this category. Produced by the Transformers gang of Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay and More >
I Think This Is A Bit Over-The-Top
Jun 2nd
Okay, I can understand different companies being happy for one of their own when something big happens to them. I can even understand a formal message congratulating them on their success (or in this case moving mediums). But this is ridiculous is it not? I’m speaking of course about Michael Bay and Victoria’s Secret‘s congratulatory video dedicated to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for landing the lead female role in Transformers 3.
I was fine with Megan Fox appearing in the first two because well, lets be honest, a photo-shopped picture of a super model probably could have pulled it off and nobody would notice. Even the More >
Is This The New Transformers Girl?
May 26th
Okay okay, so the grumblings around the blogosphere in the last little while have been dominated by people piping in about who should play the next Transformers girl. It’s like 47 steps below the Bond Girl, but nonetheless, still news worthy… I guess. Well, sorry to beak it to some, but it looks like Michael Bay has narrowed it down to three, with one definitely in the lead. The girl in the lead is none other than…
ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY
Who?, well, here’s a pic. I’m not impressed but it’s not up to me to decide who every 8th grader will be posting locker pictures of More >
Will I watch Watchmen?

The Comedian's Symbol
I’m sure most of you have seen the trailers, read the articles and pretty much followed the story behind the creation of Zac Snyder‘s Watchmen film. They promote more than the US armed forces and have spent over 100 Million bucks on the damn thing already. Also, if you live in Vancouver you might have noticed the shoot last year taking place all over downtown.
I’m not a big Snyder fan. I thought 300 was cool to look at for like 5 minutes, then it felt a little too much like a really long opening to gay porn (not that More >
Transformers ROTF – Ouch

Jonah Hill in Transformers 2
As I’m sure many of you have already seen, Michael Bay is back ruining our childhoods with his second venture into the world of Optimus Prime and Megan Fox. The trailer ran during this weekend’s Super Bowl and probably drew just as much attention as the game itself.
Here are my initial thoughts on the sequel’s trailer:
Michael Bay could have a career in simply making movie trailers. He wouldn’t get bashed so much by true fans and people probably wouldn’t care that he looks like Kenny G’s little brother. His “directing” skills are aimed more towards horny More >
