Sawyer’s Mission Is Impossible
Sep 29th
More MI:4 news on deck. As stated a few weeks (months?) ago, a lot of the cast from Mission Impossible 3 will be returning for the forth installment of the Impossible Mission Force (still a really stupid name). The cast include Tommy Cruise and Ving Rhames (of course) as well as Simon Pegg. Joining them will be newbies Michael Nyqvist from Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Paula Patton from Precious, Vladimir Mashkov who’s been in a ton of flicks I can’t pronounce and now – Josh Holloway.
That’s right, Sawyer or James Ford (depending on how you want to refer to him) is going to be in his first major role since finally leaving More >
Hawaii Five-O… Sure
Sep 24th
Happy Friday!!!
So I popped in the premier of Hawaii Five-0 last night and as I was sitting there I had a few random thoughts. First up, please understand that I’m not exactly from the generation of peeps who grew up watching this show. It wasn’t as big or awesome as a show like A-Team so basically all I know of the original is the theme song. So I guess these are just thoughts from a kid who’s only now being introduced to the show.
Number one has got to be this guy they have playing the lead. I’m sorry, but if you More >
Mr Lindelof, Mr Cuse – I’ll Take It
May 24th
As a 6 year veteran of Lost, last night was a tear-jerker. In terms of finale’s, last night’s 2 and a half hour marathon (not including the “Final Journey” thing before it) was good. It was a wrap and it accomplished what a finale should. We said goodbye to all of the characters, weren’t left with more mysteries to decipher and got that sense of completion. For those reasons, Lost fans can accept what creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse did with the one of the greatest television shows ever produced. But not everything is all lollipops and rainbows – with More >
Getting Lost This Weekend?
May 21st
Morning all,
As the blogosphere gets a tidal wave of info, rumours and theories about this weekend’s final episode of Lost, I’ve decided not to jump into the deep end. Instead, I just want to say that I’ll be watching and I will probably refrain from expressing my opinion for a while. Yes, I’ll definitely be glued to my TV on Sunday (although that sounds an awful lot like Monday, Wednesday, Saturdays and Fridays – oh yeah and most Tuesdays and Thursdays too….) but I’m going to try my hardest not to be too critical. In fact, I can feel my More >
Get LOST GLEE-KS
Apr 13th
Who knew that after all of the dust had settled after this mid-season finale bee ess that the big showdown would be for a Tuesday night time slot? Well, the big winners here are Lost and Glee as both will be premiering brand new episodes tonight. Lost has been airing on Tuesdays for a while now, but this is the first time the Fox sing-along runaway hit will air on it’s new night. I’ve griped about this mid season finale and return garbage a few times now, but I never would have guest that a couple of network television’s bggest shows would More >
Lost and Smallville Return Next Week
Jan 27th
I have to tip my proverbial hat (I don’t wear hats, but if I did it would probably be that one from Fargo) to the marketing peeps over at Lost and Smallville. Even though their shows have taken extremely long breaks, I’m still pretty jazzed to turn on the ol’ tube next week. The big return is going to be the first episode of the final season of Lost (I just noticed how ridiculous that sounds). I’ve never really fancied myself as a Lostie, but after waiting for what feels like an eternity, I’m pretty excited to see what is in More >
Reviewing Flash Forward
Sep 28th
First up, I agree with ABC when they allude to the fact that once LOST is over, their stronghold on the niche market of sci-fi and dramatic mystery fans will be all but gone. I agree with the fact that something on the network should be able to absorb some fans into a new show, but right now, I really don’t think that show is Flash Forward. With an amazing cast up front, I really had high hopes for this, but after watching the pilot last week and letting it all settle in, I’ve got more gripes than praise for the Lost More >
Dexter Returns!
Aug 24th
Dexter finally came back to TV last week after a very LONG hiatus. As one of my favorite shows, you can probably understand my excitement when the I heard the theme song and watched the opening for the first time in a very long while. Well, after watching the first episode of the forth season, I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed. Season 3 of Dexter was amazing. The introduction of Deb‘s boyfriend and the entire Miguel Prado arc was great for not only advancing the story beyond what I felt it could do, but also introducing audiences to some of More >
