This is a good one, especially because I already know 4 people who have sent this to me thinking it’s actually real.
Gmail (and subsequently Google), have done it again this year in releasing a fake feature for one of their products. This year’s culprit is Gmail Motion. The video is really good and I applaud those who kept a straight face while making it. My favourite part? Sending a message. Just lick a stamp and stick it to your knee!!!!
Okay, let’s try and get the office intern to fall for this.
Captcha Asked Me To Type It… I Swear

For those of you who are wondering what Captcha is, you’ll recognize the pic above. Anyways, I understand that Captcha randomly generates words for users to type to prove that we are in fact living, breathing, bleeding people, but I wonder if someone out there monitors the order of the words. As you can see, I was instructed by Facebook‘s Captcha mechanism to type the words

Ugh – so I spent pretty much all of last night working on a file that I planned on bringing into the office today in hopes of being able to work on it some more. But, I’ve just discovered that my old laptop will not be able to run the program I’ve been using. I’ve done the old “Hey Google, what do you have to say?” but I’ve just discovered that the reason the file will not open is because my OS is uber-old – like geriatric old (thanks Kristy). So a few days ago Horold Sy brought up an interesting point when he commented on the Bloated Penguin mentioning SEO. SEO means Search Engine Optimization, which basically translates into how well search engines like Google and Yahoo will find you. Simply put, whenever you search for something on the Interweb, these engines give you results of what they “think” your looking for.
This particular blog has 0 (zero) SEO attached to it. I haven’t gone into the back end and adjusted any keywords or descriptions – hell, I don’t even give images alt tags. More >
