GQ Sluts Up Glee
Oct 21st
Alright, I know this is probably the millionth mention of the latest GQ cover featuring three Glee cast members (Lea Michelle, Diana Agron and Corey Monteith) but among all of the negative and positive feedback, I don’t think anyone out there has identified the real issue with this photo shoot.
Where’s Naya Rivera (Santana)?
As I’ve documented before, Naya Rivera is hands-down the best cheerleader on television (not that there’s tons to choose from) and to conceive an idea like this without including her at least once is a bit of a crime. I’m sure GQ and Fox and Glee are all looking to continue this huge ride through the tunnel of popularity More >
“It’s a Britney Spears Sex Riot!”
Sep 29th
Hopefully that lead-in got your attention.
As you can probably guess, I was one of the millions of people that tuned into Glee last night and saw the Britney Spears Extravaganza. Growing up in the mid to late 90′s Britney played a major part in shaping the way people from a similar generation look at things. We see them in choreographed dance sequences, overly lip-synced choruses and suggestively dressed situations that always lead to someone leaning on the east side of crazy.
A few things I’ve learned from last night’s episode include:
Always look to make sure there isn’t an ass-sweat stain on a chair in a public More >
A Triumphant Return For The Gleeks
Sep 23rd
Morning all,
Thursdays are always strange huh? It’s like almost the end of the week, but then you think twice about it and you remember you have to wake up tomorrow morning. Ugh…
Anyways, I watched Glee last night and after an off-season of awards, national stage performances and rumours of guest stars, it felt like the producers of the show really wanted to start off with some strong story lines and put everything to rest.
I have to say, the season premier of Glee was a success. There’s enough tension and conflict between each of the regular characters that nothing seems too forced. More >
Well Done EW – Your Comic Con Coverage Was Amazing
Jul 26th
Morning all,
With one of the most whirlwind weekends in entertainment news and pop culture now over it’s nice ot kind of sit back and relax. We can now dream of what is to come from the movie theatres, television screens and video games for another year. With Comic Con 2010 now officially over we have finally kicked off what I like to call the hype. We’ll be talking about, reporting on and essentially become obsessed with rumours started at the con as well as what could be coming down the road with regards to everything we pretend isn’t important to us. It’s On Lea Michele… It’s On Like Megatron
Jun 24th
So the word around town (and by town I mean the Internet) is that YouTube star Charice will be joining the cast of Glee next season playing an exchange student. Who’s Charice? Well, I had to look her up and when I figured out who she is I felt really uncool for not knowing before hand. Anyways, Charice is like this international singing star from the Philippines who blew up on YouTube and the mushroom cloud is finally reaching a mainstream audience.
What’s her thing? She’s tiny – like really tiny. But she’s got a voice that you won’t be able to believe until More >
Did Mister Shoo Really Up-Stage NPH?
May 19th
In order to decipher the title, you would have had to have watched last evening’s episode of Glee (directed by Joss Whedon nonetheless). I actually put aside my craving for an ending to Lost and watched the Fox singing sensation last night instead. Don’t worry, I’m going to catch up tonight but until then I’m hoping nobody spoils it for me.
Anyways, back to Glee. I was super excited to find out that Neil Patrick Harris was going to guest star this season so I made sure to mark last evening in the old TV Guide (do people even subscribe to that anymore?). Being a bit of More >
Get LOST GLEE-KS
Apr 13th
Who knew that after all of the dust had settled after this mid-season finale bee ess that the big showdown would be for a Tuesday night time slot? Well, the big winners here are Lost and Glee as both will be premiering brand new episodes tonight. Lost has been airing on Tuesdays for a while now, but this is the first time the Fox sing-along runaway hit will air on it’s new night. I’ve griped about this mid season finale and return garbage a few times now, but I never would have guest that a couple of network television’s bggest shows would More >
Are Glee’s Guest Stars Taking Over?
Apr 8th
Morning kids,
I’ve got a bit of a gripe this morning and I’m pretty sure not all of you are going to agree. Remember how much we love Glee? It’s that show on Fox about a bunch of misfits who get together and sing and dance a bunch of iconic 80′s soft rock hits; in case you bumped your head. Well, as I was perusing Oprah yesterday (hey, a guy’s got to get in the know right?) I noticed that the entire episode was devoted to Glee. Op’s (that’s my nickname for Oprah BTW) had on the entire cast; they performed, they chatted, More >
