Walternates, Fauxlivias and Alternastrids? Fringe Season 3 Updates
Aug 5th
Morning kids,
The GF was exploring EW’s Ausiello Files last night and stumbled upon this clip from the Fox All Star party from a couple of weeks ago.
What!!!???
Awesome, according to Jasika Nicole (Astrid) the first few episodes of the third season of Fringe will be broken up into alternating episodes between the two universes. I’ve seen how shows have tried to deal with double universes before in that they mix both story lines into single episodes, but like always, Fringe is breaking the norm. With a one-to-one ratio of Them and Us, it sounds as though the creators of Fringe are hoping to get More >
Feelin’ Comic Con Jealousy
Jul 19th
Morning all,
This upcoming weekend marks the inevitable kick-off to the greatest event of the year… Yes, I’m talking about Comic Con. Please tell me you know what Comic Con is and why it’s so important to a trivial gnome like myself because I don’t feel like writing an entire novel. Anyways, this year’s convention is probably going to generate the most buzz of the year in terms of comics, movies, TV and video games. Yes, each seem to have their own niches and each medium of entertainment could probably fill an entire weekend itself, but Comic Con is a celebration More >
Spock Says Goodbye Tonight
May 20th
Star Trek, Fringe and Leonard Nemoy enthusiasts will say a sad goodbye to the original Vulcan himself as his final screen performance will air tonight in the second half of the season finale of Fringe. I have to admit, I’m a little sad at the news. I thought he did a wonderful job as Spock in the new Star Trek and although Belly is really only in Fringe for like a total of 15 minutes, it still sticks out in my mind. In any case, the second part of the2-part finale tonight should be a great one.
As we learned last week, Peter has been abducted More >
Robocop Can Travel Time?
Apr 20th
I know this might be coming a bit late considering this is about last week’s episode of Fringe, but did anyone else notice that the guest star was none other than Robocop himself? And what was even better was that Peter Weller (Robocop) played a dude that basically turned himself into a cyborg. The people at Fringe know how to reach out to the sci-fi fan. Good for them.
BTW – I know the Canucks lost last night and I’m choosing not to fully acknowledge it. (smile)
80′s Fringe!!!!
Apr 2nd
Wow…. Last night’s episode of Fringe was like a junkie rediscovering his love of narcotics for me. After a really REALLY long mid-season hiatus (I effen hate those by the way) Fringe returned last night with the episode Peter. I had been reading up on what to expect, so I knew this was going to be a bit of a historical episode about Walter going to steal his son. What I didn’t expect to see was the amazing 1985 effect they put on the entire episode.
The intro was AMAZING!
And wouldn’t it be strange if Eric Stolz actually did play Marty McFly?

Get Your Fringe Fix
Feb 26th
I’m kind of wigging out like a crack-addict after the first three hours of rehab. I miss Fringe. Thursday nights used be an event, now? Well, last evening I actually went out of my apartment. With people. Come back Fringe, PLEASE.
If any of that rings true to you, you can do one of two things. You can join the Fringe Facebook group and receive updates during this ridiculous hiatus.

You can just stay here and check it all out in one place:

You Know A Series Is Filmed In Vancouver When…
Feb 11th
So the other day I decided to switch on the TV and a promo for this new show Human Target caught my attention. It doesn’t look terribly amazing at first glance, but I recognized the main character as the dude who played John Scott in the first season of Fringe. So, meh, I decided to check it out…
I’m actually kind of glad I did. The principle cast of three is a perfect number to start off with and the likes of Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley really play off of relative newcomer Mark Valley quite well. The concept of a rogue undercover security More >
Damn You Fringe!!!!!
Feb 5th
Trust me, you want to know what they just found.
I hate mid-season finales. They’ve done it with Smallville, They’re doing it with Glee, and last night saw the mid season finale of Fringe. And the kicker is that Jacksonville (the title of last night’s episode) was the best of season 2 so far. Agreed, the second season of Fringe has been a bit slow in terms of the overall arc of the stories set up in the first season, but in defense of the brilliant Rob Orci and Alex Kurtzman, this was needed to gain more fans. Last night’s episode was like More >
