Remember that guy named Steve Spielberg? He’s kind of a big deal in movies. His credits might ring a bell if you search for his name on the Internet or something….. So, along with a bunch of other things currently on the go for Spielberg, he’s been knee deep in mo-cap for his latest endeavor, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.

T-Mobile’s Flashmobee Goodness

It’s Tuesday (I know, sucks) but whatev’s, we’re a couple months away from holidays right?
Speaking of the holidays, check out T-Mobile‘s latest stunt pulled off at Heathrow airport a few days ago. Very well done, very choreographed and very fun. It doesn’t necessarily make me want to start using T-Mobile, but it’s still pretty cool if you ask me. Check out the video below, then check out how it was made. Well done T-Mobile.

Dark Knight Rises, But Not In 3D

Christopher Nolan has finally released some more official news on the third Batman flick. Coming into theatres will “Dark Knight Rises,” and that’s it. He did go into how he was shooting it though which is a breath of fresh air. Nolan will shoot Darknight Rises with IMAX cameras and will not transfer the flick over to 3D. Thank the Lord!!!!
So to date here’s what we know so far:

Cell Phone Cinema – Nice

So after seeing the following video and then watching the “How it was made” follow-up thing, I looked at all of the HD video footage I have on my phone. This is sad. See, I’ve got darkened useless footage of my friends getting drunk and pulling pranks on each other. And I’ve got like this sweet shot of all darkness probably taken while the phone was still in my pocket. When did Volvo get an attitude?
Growing up, Volvo was always like the “Dad says we have to buy it,” style car in that they preached safety over anything else. I thought it was working really well considering there were like 20 families in the suburban prison where I grew up that owned one. They were safe, quite big and could hold a ton of people.

Tron and Daft Punk Get Derezzed

Here’s a Tron Legacy video and a slick track sample from Daft Punk all in one! The track is called Derezzed and just one of the computer-enhanced blips of genius that will be included in the movie this December.
