First up, I apologize for going completely AWOL for the last few days. I’ve been lazy busy and stuff.
But we’re back at it and the big news circulating the movie world isn’t any casting rumours, a new trailer or even a controversy. The big news floating around right now is the confirmation that James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be hosting the 83rd annual Academy Awards on February 27th 2011.
That’s right, the stoned guy from Pineapple Express and the girl from Princess Diaries will be hosting the event together.

Morning all, and happy Friday.
Some exciting rumours have been spread around the interwebs of Tweeting, link passing and random FB messages that centre around a few of the biggest names in Nerdland (don’t take offense to that, I sometimes consider myself mayor…). Anyways, as of yesterday morning someone leaked a “possible” (and I say this with a lot of speculation in my voice/keyboard mashing) shortlist of the actresses Christopher Nolan is looking at to fill two female roles in Batman: Dark Knight Rises.

Facebook Running Wonderland Trailer Competition

This is actually a pretty cool idea. Facebook has teamed up with Tim Burton and the marketing crew behind the new Alice in Wonderland flick and have decided to run a bit of a friendly competition. They’ve created three fan pages for the live action fantasy. One is for fans of the Red Queen being played by Helena Bonham Carter.
