Damn You Again Amazon!!!!!
Nov 9th
I’m such a sucker… Plain and simple.
Amazon just sent me their annual Holiday Gift Guide and as soon as I saw the subject line on the email, I heard my bank account scream like someone just coughed in their eye. Sadly, when I see “Hoiliday Gift Guide,” the thought of anyone other than myself doesn’t even register. The gift guide is for me isn’t it? Like Amazon wouldn’t be sending me user-centered lists of goodies for other people right? So if I go and spend like a few hundred bucks on Blu-Rays it’s actually the right thing to do, right?

The Frustrations of Credit Card Fraud
Jul 14th
My credit card was recently compromised leaving me with that feeling of incompleteness similar to that of losing a limb. Okay, maybe that last statement contained somewhat of an assumption, but I’m not exaggerating when I say I feel like I’m missing something without it. I never realized how important that little piece of magnetic plastic was to me until I started making a list of all of the different companies I was going to have to contact to let them know that my information has changed. The list started off manageable with things like the phone company and Amazon, More >
Amazon Keeps Offering Me Porn!
Feb 11th
Here’s my situation. I was looking up a director’s cut of Midnight Meat Train – not because it looks like classic cinema or anything, but its one of my favorite horror stories that I remember reading in Uni. From there I was offered to look at a musical called Repo! The Genetic Opera which actually looks really interesting. When I was on the Repo page I saw a link to My Name is Bruce – which I still haven’t seen so I clicked. On the My Name is Bruce page there’s a film in the suggestion area called I Was More >

Dream State
Rejoining the workforce has been a big change in my life. Gone are the days of waking up at noon and sitting around in my pajamas till the evening. Gone are the days of watching terrible late night TV and playing video games until sunrise. It’s like it was all this distant dream of a life I wish I had… again.
I can now appreciate the term TGIF – probably the worst acornym ever created, but mostly because it also refers to a bad American family restaurant chain that specializes in microwaving.

Latest Amazon Shopping Cart

This month's shopping cart
I share a brutal love-hate relationship with Amazon. Over the past few years they have been my online shopping source of choice. They provide everything from books and DVD’s to video games and now hardware. I love it some days because I can find pretty much anything there without having to jump into a transit situation and sift my way through a terrible suburban shopping center. I hate it because it’s nerd-crack. They’re Amazon-y way of “suggesting” items after you have purchased something is evil and brilliant at the same time.
