As stated many times before, I’m a big True Blood fan. There’s something about watching an HBO show with amazingly good looking people that basically do nothing but fight and have sex all the time. Mix in some supernatural and you’ve got a hit – or in this case Alan Ball‘s True Blood. At the conclusion of last season we saw Bill Compton “make” another vampire as a punishment for killing one of his own. I’m sure I’m not the only one excited about the remainder of this season of True Blood. After watching this I’ve decided not to spoil anymore of the story (but it won’t stop me from sharing it with you). True Blood – Better than Twilight

I’m sure I’ll only get a really good argument out of a 13-year-old girl, but I have to say that the HBO series and book written by Charlaine Harris, True Blood is miles ahead of anything Stephanie Meyer has penned. I understand that both the Sookie Stackhouse series and the Twilight series are for two completely different audiences, but I have to say that the entertainment value on an intellectual front is much higher for Harris’s stories.
