The Best News Since 1989
Sep 9th
Morning all,
How about some great news right before the weekend? Okay, here we go! It’s what we’ve been waiting for since that fateful first time we all watched Back To The Future II. No, sorry, nobody will be mass producing hover boards. And no, Doc Brown and the DeLorean still haven’t hit 88MPH. But what’s the next best thing? YES! You’re correct! Marty McFly‘s kicks from Back To The Future II are finally coming to the mass public. Sure, in the flick he doesn’t get them until 2015, but I guess we’re a bit ahead of schedule.

Batman: Year One Blu-Ray
Sep 7th
Morning all,
Hope the long weekend treated everyone as splendidly as it did me….
Anyways, onto much more interesting things. As a lot of you are aware, DC and Warner have been teaming up in the last half decade to produce some quite beautiful direct-to-DVD/Blu-Ray flicks based on some of our favourite characters. You’ve probably heard or seen the production they did for Superman Doomsday, The Justice League, Wonder Woman, ect, but a lot of us were holding our collective breathe in hopes that DC would make the big leap and animate a story that has been circulating for a while. I’m speaking/typing of More >
Watch Marvel’s First One-Shot “The Consultant”
Sep 1st
Morning all,
A couple of weeks ago I posted something about Marvel’s new initiative to focus a few short films on Agent Coulson. You remember… This one. Anyways, it looks like the first Marvel One-Shot, The Consultant, has finally been released to Marvel junkies online. It will be included as one of the special features on the Thor DVD and Blu-Ray being released later this month, but for a sneak peak, have a look. Sorry, the sound is a bit quiet, so I suggest keeping it down until after the mandatory commercial. DAMN YOU ADVERTISING!!!!!
Not bad huh? From what I can gather (from both reading other More >
Nucky’s New Nemesis’s – Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Trailer
Aug 31st
Morning all,
How many of you have circled September 25 on the calendar for the second season premier of Boardwalk Empire? Okay, you probably haven’t… Yet. Have a look at the brand new trailer released by HBO for the second season. A couple of highlights that are very intriguing for me are Nucky’s new enemies and a new allies (School These Crackas!). Boardwalk Empire walked away with quite a few awards and even more accolades from fans alike. Deservingly so, the intense, violent and wonderfully art directed show is amazing. Check out the trailer for season 2, circle the calendar and get ready.
A Few Seconds Of The Hunger Games
Aug 30th
Morning all,
Been busy – yet again.
On to bigger and better things though, check out the clip from The Hunger Games that premiered at the MVA’s last week. I have to be honest, I’m not exactly ecstatic to see this, but I’m a huge sucker for hype (ie. Transformers, SuckerPunch, ect). In any case, this minute-long clip give me a Twilight-y feel. Maybe it’s just the forest and the creepy music, but I get a similar feeling. Fireballs and arrows aside, it’s all looking a little bit familiar. The Hunger Games stars teen sensations-in-the-making Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, but it’s the grown-ups More >
The Most Sensational, Inspirational, Celebrational…
Aug 24th
Morning all,
Why not wake up with a little excitement right? Check out this music video from OK GO! You’ll probably recognize the song from the most sensation, inspiration, celebrational television show of all time. That’s right, OK GO! has teamed up with The Muppets for their latest music video that is seemingly acting as both the latest track and video for the band, and promotion for the brand new Muppet movie coming out pretty soon. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Danger Girl Hitting The Big Screen
Aug 23rd
Morning all,
Just to start this off, here’s an interesting thought. After such a hugely successful weekend, who is on the fence about the importance of Comicon after seeing what happened at D23? Obviously in overall comic book and pop culture circles the reigning king is still the San Diego Mecca, but after reading about all of the new Pixar flicks, all about the Avengers and a whole bunch of other cool new stuff coming out of Disney, you have to wonder if there’s going to be some kind of nerd turf war.
Back to the subject at hand. Does anyone out there read Danger More >
Fringe Season 4 Teasers
Aug 16th
Morning all,
So I’ve been watching all of Fringe once again hoping to time everything perfectly for the 4th season premier on September 23rd. In doing so, I’m becoming increasingly more excited to see what’s going to happen this year for Olivia, Walter, Astrid and now Lincoln (now that Peter doesn’t exist). Speaking of, the promos/teasers for the 4th season are ridiculous. I understand that they probably don’t want to release any footage or even really hint at what’s going to happen, but seeing these is just frustrating. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, scroll down and watch them. What you’ll More >
