Mo Trailers
Nov 8th
It’s now the second week of November and I’m about to freeze my ass off. East coast living, gotta love it. But to warm myself up, how about a couple of new trailers?
The first is a redband trailer for the new Timberlake and Mila Kunis raunch com Friends With Benefits. Redband aside, this actually looks pretty funny. I know that seeing a whole bunch of naughty scenes in a trailer is enticing enough, but you never know. This could end up being a nice little flick… Or it could end up being Good Luck Chuck. BTW – I hate 3rd Eye Blind.

Invasion Of Some Bad Rom-Coms
Nov 5th
Take a look at these two trailers for some upcoming romantic comedies. The first is kind of a tragedy considering Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler used to be really funny. Thinking back (WAY BACK) I thought Rachel from Friends and Happy Gilmore were pretty funny characters and I thought both Sandler and Aniston would be able to sustain some pretty lengthy and respectable careers. But a ton of bad movies later, here we are with Just Go With It…
Next up on the menu of bad ideas is yet another Ashton Kutcher movie… It looks like the people in Hollywood are trying something different with Kutcher this time More >
Martin Sheen As Uncle Ben
Nov 5th
Looks like the principle cast for the Spiderman reboot by Marc Webb is almost complete as the news of Martin Sheen playing Uncle Ben came down the wire yesterday. So to date that gives us Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey (although I think she looks a little more like MJ…) and Rhys Ifans as some kind of villain and now Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben. I guess that leaves Aunt May.
I think it would awesome if there was some kind of conversation in the new flick where Uncle Ben goes a bit senile and starts talking to Peter about his time in the More >
A Couple New Trailers With Colin Farrell
Nov 5th
Happy Friday as usual. Hope this weekend treats you all very well as we get closer and closer to the cold season.
Is it just me or is there really nothing extremely exciting coming out in the movie theatres of late? Sure, I understand that Harry Potter is probably going to set some records but I kind of feel like we all know what to expect. It’s all good, but it’s expected (on a side note, wouldn’t it be funny if the Brits purposely made a really shitty Harry Potter movie just to piss off all of the fans?). 127 Hours looks More >
New Sucker Punch Trailer
Nov 4th
It’s nice to wake up to a brand new trailer to a flick I’m super excited about. The first trailer for Sucker Punch was all about the action but this next one explains a lot more of the story. Tons of action, a completely fantasy-inspired concept and a cast that will be gracing the inside of high school lockers everywhere. The only thing missing from this second trailer is a John Hamm appearance. Can’t wait for this flick!!!
Jamie Chung Getting Hungover
Nov 3rd
Welcome to Wednesday. Don’t worry, just a couple of more days left till the weekend.
Some interesting Hangover 2 casting news came to my attention this morning that actually has nothing to do with the surprise (not to surprise anymore) cameo. It looks like Jamie Chung will be playing Ed Helms‘ fiance. Who’s Jamie Chung? (Seriously, by now you really shouldn’t be asking that but I’ll bite).
Jamie Chung is a reality TV survivor who has actually made a credible acting career after being on the Real World a few years ago. She guest starred on a few shows, then landed a recurring role on Greek and eventually Days More >
127 Hours Induces Vomiting
Nov 2nd
Um… yeah. According to a bunch of reports (truth still pending) the Danny Boyle flick 127 Hours starring James Franco could make you barf. This has got to be fake right? I mean, you go into a movie where pretty much all you know is that James Franco is going to cut off his own arm. You’d think that some of these people would be prepared. So I’m calling bullshit on this one kids. I think this is just a great PR stunt by the folks marketing the flick. It’s got people talking, I’ll give you that.
Tintin Images
Nov 2nd
Remember that guy named Steve Spielberg? He’s kind of a big deal in movies. His credits might ring a bell if you search for his name on the Internet or something….. So, along with a bunch of other things currently on the go for Spielberg, he’s been knee deep in mo-cap for his latest endeavor, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
The animated Tintin flick is a combo job from the Lord of the Ring himself Peter Jackson and Spielberg. I’m sure there’s been a ton of Hollywood support surrounding this thus far cause if you want a sound investment in the movie More >
