Anything and everything that is not work related
But does it shoot pizzas?
Oct 25th
Morning all,
Hope your weekends were splendid as usual. Was clicking around the Internet this morning (yeah I do that sometimes) and I stumbled upon this little doozy. It’s pretty awesome if you ask me. If this was like 1989 I’d probably be begging my parents for this for Christmas.

No Go On The New Logo
Oct 12th
By now I’m sure a lot of you have heard that The Gap has decided not to use the new logo that went public a couple of weeks ago. Amidst thousands of negative comments and words that even I don’t feel comfortable cutting and pasting, it seems as though The Gap has listened to their customers and decided to revert. I like the fact that they entertained the idea of redesigning, but they really should have gotten a bunch of designers to submit a few versions, then had people vote on the best one – you know, if they were really More >
True Grit Looking Truly Amazing
Sep 28th
As a ridiculously faithful fan of the HBO series Deadwood, I’ve been patiently waiting for another awesome take on the old west. Well, I guess patience pays off in a big way because it looks as the the Coen Bros has answered. True Grit looks amazing and although it won’t be a TV series like Deadwood, it looks like it adopts a similar principle – be as real and as brutal as possible.
This already looks like it’ll win some kind of cinematography award and the cast (all Coen Bros veterans save the little girl) is top notch. Let’s put it this way:

A Farewell For The Ages
Sep 19th
I know this might seem a bit strange, you know… Me writing something on the weekend and stuff, but I find it the most appropriate time for some reason. See, as many of you already know (mom – calling out to you once again), I decided about a month ago to leave my post as the Creative Producer at Free The Children and take on a brand new challenge. That’s right, as of now, I’m a member of Naked Creative in Toronto. I’ll post a little bit more about Naked in a bit, but I would like to dedicate More >
We Now Return You To Your Regularly Scheduled Programming…
Sep 1st
Morning Kids!
Yes, I’ve been extremely MIA in the last week or two but for good reason. I went home for a few days for some R&R and some thinking and I’ve returned to Toronto refreshed and ready to go! Go with what you ask? Well, I’m not really sure at this point because I basically only wrote that to get myself pumped up about going back to work – which is always a drag coming off vacation. In any case, it’s good to be back and to everyone out there who was wondering when I was going to post again More >
I’m Alive, Just Saying…
Aug 26th
Hey Kids,
Just thought I’d drop a little message letting you all know that I’m alive, but I’m on vacation.
Sorry if you’ve been eagerly awaiting penguin news – I’ll be back to the norm in about a week. In the mean time, check this out!
Looks amazing so far Mr. Boyle! 127 Hours with James Franco and his arm. Can’t wait.
Friday The 13th Duh duh duuuuuuh
Aug 13th
From Wikipedia
The fear of Friday the 13th is called friggatriskaidekaphobia, frigga meaning “Friday” and triskaidekaphobia (or paraskevidekatriaphobia) being a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (Παρασκευή, meaning “Friday”), and dekatreís (δεκατρείς, meaning “thirteen”) attached to phobía (φοβία, from phóbos, φόβος, meaning “fear”). The word was derived in 1911 and first appeared in a mainstream source in 1953.
There are conflicting studies about the risk of accidents on Friday the 13th. The Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics (CVS) on June 12, 2008, stated that “fewer accidents and reports of fire and theft occur when the 13th of the More >
The Adidas Mega Diner Is Always Open
Aug 6th
Morning all,
Thought I’d share this nice little site from Adidas this morning in case anyone is hungry for something… MEGA. That’s right, Adidas looks as though they are venturing into the food service industry (not literally of course). After a successful campaign through their Star Wars line it seems like the creative peeps over at the shoe comapny have ripped off the gloves and rolled up the sleeves.
The Adidas Mega Diner is a unique way to get online users engaged in some of the new products coming from the three-striped sneaker company. The concept is based on diner food and takes into consideration More >
