What would you say if I said there’s going to be a movie coming out about the NYC Ballet scene?

Possible Answers: Meh, Blah, Whatevs, My better half better not make me see this, Nope.

Okay, now what would you say if I said this movie stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis?

Possible Answers: Interesting, Tell me more, still meh, I wouldn’t feel dragged to this.

How about if I said this was directed by Darren Aronofsy?

Possible Answers: Who? You mean the guys from the Wrestler? Sounds like a hockey player, Not bad, I could watch this I guess, I still need more.

Alright, Ballet, Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Darren Aronofsky and… a girl on girl make-out scene?

Possible Answer: In.

Check out the trailer for Black Swan below. A couple of ballerinas battle it out for the starring role in some dance and in the midst of all of the competition, one of them goes a lil’ nuts. I’ve heard rumblings about this for a while now and after getting some solid reviews from the Toronto film fest, I can actually see this doing alright. It’s probably not going to generate huge numbers, but I can see this being some sort of cult fav in a few years. Enjoy!
