Something For Everyone This Weekend

Morning kids,

Isn’t it great when a bunch of movies all open on the same weekend? I’m religiously against line-ups (even though I’m coincidentally always the one holding spots in line…) so when three pretty big titles hit the theatres on the same weekend it’s nice to spread the love. This weekend marks the opening of a trio of good looking flicks. The great part is, they are all drastically different – upon first glance.

For the gamer-comic-nerd-pretty-much-virgin there’s Scott Pilgrim Versus The World! I’ve been harping on people to get excited for this for a while now so I think this will be the first one I check out.

For the testosterone-driven-meat-head there’s The Expendables! Again, I think this is going to be a huge spectacle no matter how much people bash the violent concept.

And finally, for the book-loving-Julia-Roberts-Junkie there’s Eat, Pray Love! Not only does it star everyone’s Pretty Woman, but it’s directed by the guy who made Glee!
