Sawyer’s Mission Is Impossible
Sep 29th
More MI:4 news on deck. As stated a few weeks (months?) ago, a lot of the cast from Mission Impossible 3 will be returning for the forth installment of the Impossible Mission Force (still a really stupid name). The cast include Tommy Cruise and Ving Rhames (of course) as well as Simon Pegg. Joining them will be newbies Michael Nyqvist from Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Paula Patton from Precious, Vladimir Mashkov who’s been in a ton of flicks I can’t pronounce and now – Josh Holloway.
That’s right, Sawyer or James Ford (depending on how you want to refer to him) is going to be in his first major role since finally leaving More >
“It’s a Britney Spears Sex Riot!”
Sep 29th
Hopefully that lead-in got your attention.
As you can probably guess, I was one of the millions of people that tuned into Glee last night and saw the Britney Spears Extravaganza. Growing up in the mid to late 90′s Britney played a major part in shaping the way people from a similar generation look at things. We see them in choreographed dance sequences, overly lip-synced choruses and suggestively dressed situations that always lead to someone leaning on the east side of crazy.
A few things I’ve learned from last night’s episode include:
Always look to make sure there isn’t an ass-sweat stain on a chair in a public More >
True Grit Looking Truly Amazing
Sep 28th
As a ridiculously faithful fan of the HBO series Deadwood, I’ve been patiently waiting for another awesome take on the old west. Well, I guess patience pays off in a big way because it looks as the the Coen Bros has answered. True Grit looks amazing and although it won’t be a TV series like Deadwood, it looks like it adopts a similar principle – be as real and as brutal as possible.
This already looks like it’ll win some kind of cinematography award and the cast (all Coen Bros veterans save the little girl) is top notch. Let’s put it this way:

Muppets Kitchen
Sep 27th
Your favorite cooking show complete with time-lapsed baking and picturesque fake kitchens. Your number one cooking personality is mixing up a storm and ready to unleash that perfect dish you’ve been waiting all of this time to see… Then, out of nowhere, a Muppet pops up and insanity plays itself out.
Well, if you’re like me (and I doubt it cause that would just be really strange…) then the prospect of a Muppet cooking show is effin cool. Throw Cat Cora into the mix and you know she’s going to show you a thing or two. In case you’re wondering, Cat was one of More >
More Possible Mary Janes
Sep 24th
Too many rumours to keep up with lately huh?
Well, this one is about something you’ll surely care about. How about Emma Stone for Mary Jane in the new Spiderman flick? I haven’t seen Easy A yet, but apparently she kills it. I liked her in Superbad and she looks like a natural ginger so maybe this could work. On the other hand, the names Teresa Palmer, Lily Collins and Mia Wasikowska are also being tossed around for the flick. What we don’t know is who these girls could be playing as there has been a lot of rumblings about both Gwen Stacey and MJ showing up.

Hawaii Five-O… Sure
Sep 24th
Happy Friday!!!
So I popped in the premier of Hawaii Five-0 last night and as I was sitting there I had a few random thoughts. First up, please understand that I’m not exactly from the generation of peeps who grew up watching this show. It wasn’t as big or awesome as a show like A-Team so basically all I know of the original is the theme song. So I guess these are just thoughts from a kid who’s only now being introduced to the show.
Number one has got to be this guy they have playing the lead. I’m sorry, but if you More >
November 19th… That is all.

The latest trailer for the second to last movie from the Harry Potter movie series (Deathly Hollows Part 1) was released last evening. Have a look. Drool at the visuals. Smile at the characters you grew up with. Hope that someone invents a time machine so you can jump ahead a couple of months and watch this in the theatres. To 3D or not to 3D? Probably not even though it could be amazing.

Say What?
