Five Glorious Minutes Of Thor
Jul 29th
Comic Con peeps got a look at 5 amazing minutes of the Thor movie but those of us who weren’t able to make the con can check out the footage here. Looks pretty intense, but for me the best part is Kat Dennings‘ one line.
Enjoy
*WOOPS, looks like the Marvel peeps want to keep this footage under wraps for now. I’m sure it’ll be back online somewhere in a matter of minutes though.
Suckerpunch Looks Great So Far
Jul 29th
Morning all,
Did anyone else catch the new trailer for Suckerpunch that was released on Apple Trailers yesterday? If you did, then fear not, cause here’s an embedded version. Have a looksie and let me know what you think. I’ve got some words about this, but in short… WOW.
Unbelievable. The music choice for the trailer, the creepy voice over, and the action and visuals look stunning. Suckerpunch follows the journey of a girl attempting to escape from a mental hospital from back in the old days. She recruits some of her friends and lets her imagination take over. Okay, so the concept doesn’t More >
Skins Absorbs 2 Straight Weekends
Jul 28th
Normally I’m the last to hear about a really good show from overseas. In fact, that is exactly the case with the British based drama Skins. People have been trying to get me to watch it for a few years now and upon hearing rave reviews from my sister and a couple of friends I finally cracked and started watching a few weekends ago. My oh my how time can be sucked into a vortex with Skins. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, Skins is a British teen drama that broadcasts in short series’ much like a lot of other More >
Scott Pigrim Game Drops August 10th on PSN
Jul 27th
Gotta thank Ma-Ting for this as he’s the one that sent me the original clip, but this game looks spectacular. As many of you already know, Scott Pilgrim Versus The World will be hitting theatres soon. but what you might not have known is that the game will be hitting the Playstation Network August 10th. But why should we all be excited for this? Check the trailer below and I’ll end this paragraph simply with… Nuff Said.
Hats off to Ubisoft for knowing their demographic. Not only have they tapped into the hardcore fans of the comic and the original artistic style, but More >
Well Done EW – Your Comic Con Coverage Was Amazing
Jul 26th
Morning all,
With one of the most whirlwind weekends in entertainment news and pop culture now over it’s nice ot kind of sit back and relax. We can now dream of what is to come from the movie theatres, television screens and video games for another year. With Comic Con 2010 now officially over we have finally kicked off what I like to call the hype. We’ll be talking about, reporting on and essentially become obsessed with rumours started at the con as well as what could be coming down the road with regards to everything we pretend isn’t important to us. Tron Neons It’s Way Into The Spotlight
Jul 23rd
2 Posts in 1 Day?!!!
Wow ya’ll are lucky. Okay, seriously though, there’s been so much going on in San Diego in the last 24 hours that for those of us (myself included) who are not at the convention, it’s tough to keep up.
I’m sure everyone (or most… hopefully) has at least heard of the Disney feature Tron Legacy that will be premiering December 17th. Well, yesterday marked a huge day for the Tron team as Disney held their own Comic Con panel hosted by none other than Patton Oswalt. It’s actually a pretty kick’n start to have a good host. I’ve read a More >
Introducing The Suckerpunch Gals
Jul 23rd
Ah the hype is so grand this time of year isn’t it? Case and point, San Diego Comic Con 2010 is elbow deep in pop culture news and announcements that it’s becoming really difficult to keep up with everything. Well, to save you a bit of time, here’s what I’m loving so far out of everything that’s been released. Suckerpunch is shaping up to be a HUGE hype beast right now. At this point, I would say it’s going to surpass Kick-Ass status where the flick could absolutely suck and nobody would care. I’m not saying Kick-Ass sucked at all, but it had so More >
Captain America and Thor Online
Jul 22nd
Morning kids,
With Comic Con 2010 well under way by now, it’s difficult to stay on top of all of the interesting news coming out of California these days. Instead of doing a list of shit to check out, here’s something that’s a lot easier for me.
Check out a couple of new sites that launched yesterday as part of Comic Con 2010.
Captain America: The First Avenger
and
Okay, so neither of these are award winning interactive experiences yet, but usually when a site goes live (usually, not all of the time) it means that hype should now begin. I’m assuming that along with media More >
