Dear Starbucks, This is Greenburg
Mar 30th
Morning kids, feeling a bit radio DJ-ish this morning so like one time before, this post might read a lot better if you imagine it coming to you over your iPhone App-itized SIRIUS Satellite.
Okay, product placement aside, I wanted to let everyone know how excited I am about Focus Feature‘s latest flick Greenburg. Have you seen the trailer yet? If not then you’re in luck and you can skip this whole thing and scroll to the bottom for all of the Youtubey goodness (man, that was a little too radio – I’ll stop). So… Greenburg. It looks like this is a pseudo-Woody More >
Who Are The Losers?
Mar 29th
Good Monday Morning folks, hope everyone has had their coffee and are already looking forward to the long weekend.
Just to get you jazzed up enough to get you through the week, here is some news on an upcoming flick called The Losers.
Opening on April 23rd in a theater (hopefully near you and if it’s not there’s this thing called the bus), is the latest flick from the pen of Peter Berg. Remember that dude? He sometimes hits the front of the camera, but lately has been spending a lot of time behind it. He directed King’s Ransom, probably the best More >
Shyamalan’s Avatar – Not to be confused with Cameron’s

Timing sucks don’t it M. Night?
In case you have no idea what this means, rest assured, I’ll explain in short. A few years ago the kids network Nickelodeon ran a very successful animated show called Avatar: The Last Airbender. It aired for a few seasons, and by the end of it had garnered enough fan attention to be turned into a live action feature film. During this time there was this Canadian guy named James that was experimenting with 3D technology and blue paint. A little over a year ago that guy James released the title of his 3D extravaganza which More >
An Astronomical Event That Occurs When One Celestial Object Moves Into The Shadow Of Another
Mar 24th
I’ll give you a minute to catch your breath after reading through that encyclopedia of a title (in fact, I stole that directly from Wikipedia).
Are we all here now?
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, the title is the definition of an Eclipse. Not to be confused with the movie posters below.
(Tweenage girls may now gasp)

Captain America is…
Mar 23rd
Chris Evans…
Yup, Chris Evans… That guy who played Jessica Alba‘s brother Johnny Storm in those forgettable Fantastic Four flicks. The same guy who played one of the lead roles on Not Another Teen Movie. Chris Evans is the same dude that played opposite Kim Basinger in Cellular and opposite Dakota Fanning in Push. He was also in a flick called Sunshine directed by Danny Boyle. So, now that we all know who will be dawning the red, white and blue, picking up the shield and kicking off the start of the Avengers what do you think?
Before you make judgment, here are a few Youtube clips of More >
My Bracket Looks Like A Broken Circuit Board
Mar 22nd
Hey-Zeus… Every freaking year this happens. March Madness will be the death of me as I’ll spend all season studying, analyzing and researching every team all the way down to their grade point averages only to be ousted by my sister who chooses teams based on mascots and jersey colors… I’m sure I’m not the only one, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. Kansas? Seriously? Come on Jayhawks! You’ve killed me. And Georgetown? The Hoyas used to be feared and to be walked all over by a team that could barey be considered a mid-major or a bubble team is just More >
Carlton Beer Walks The Line Of Inappropriateness
Mar 18th
Although this ad is catchy (mostly due to the trio’s song) I can’t help but feel as though Calrton Draught Beer is really stretching with this one. Okay, I get that sometimes you just crave the need to have a beer with some mates, but that need never stems from… down there. I also don’t really understand the whole reference to having the balls to have a beer. To me, it would take more balls to tell your mates you don’t want to go out and have a beer in fear of being made fun of for the entire night.
So, More >
