My First UFC Experience….
Aug 9th
I’ll kick this off by letting you all know that I’m NOT a “fighting” fan. I’ve never liked wrestling, boxing or even seeing random confrontations in the street. I love most sports, but when the UFC and MMA hit the big time I never really got into it. I’d heard about it all for past 5 years and working with Bodog Fight gave me some exposure, but before last evening I never took the time to actually watch. Last evening was my very first experience watching an event like this and WOW…. Was that disappointing. The group of people I was watching with More >
Latest Trailer from Where The Wild Things Are
Aug 7th
Okay Okay, I know a lot of you are probably sick of me posting stuff about Spike Jonze‘s latest Where The Wild Things Are, but this latest trailer is actually something worth checking out, especially if you haven’t seen any of them. Turn up the sound, it’s worth it.

@ Yahoo! VideoWaiting for Glee
Aug 6th
I’m a sucker for musical television. I guess it all started with Buffy‘s Once More WIth Feeling episode, then Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog and now I’m pretty excited for Fox‘s Glee to pick up again in the fall. I’m not at the point where I’m going to try-out with the local theater for a part in Rent or anything, but I’ve been guilty of humming a tune in the shower every once in a while. Anyways, Glee should be back on TV this fall and I think this will be Fox’s big hit for the season. Fox has fallen way behind in terms of comedy More >
Deborah Ann Woll AKA Jessica
Aug 5th
As stated many times before, I’m a big True Blood fan. There’s something about watching an HBO show with amazingly good looking people that basically do nothing but fight and have sex all the time. Mix in some supernatural and you’ve got a hit – or in this case Alan Ball‘s True Blood. At the conclusion of last season we saw Bill Compton “make” another vampire as a punishment for killing one of his own. Although he never got to choose the victim, I’m glad the other vampires went with Jessica Hamby. As season two rolls along we’re getting to know Jessica more More >
Interesting Banner Campaign For Surrogates Movie
Aug 4th
Not sure how many people have been following the production (and completion at this point) of the next Bruce Willis action flick Surrogates, but these banner ads just started popping up everywhere. I have to admit, I kinda like it. They feel like half AI (but the good half only) and half Terminator. What is interesting about banner ads is that there is a limited amount of space to get out as much information as you can. The marketing team behind Surrogates probably looked at this as a challenge and decided to create ads based on the fictitious company the film will More >
Port Almost Done!
Aug 3rd
My adventures into WordPress and CSS are finally coming to fuition as my refreshed new portfolio is “almost,” complete. I only say “almost,” because this is one of those things that’ll never actually be finished. I’m at a stage where I’m simply inputting content; which for me, is really the home stretch. I’ve gone through multiple revisions and come up with something that I can live with. When working on personal projects such as this, you really do have to bite it and say, “screw it, it works.” Usually I’m an extreme perfectionist, but this is more of a situation More >
