Can’t Decide If I Wanna Watch Legion
Normally when I see trailers like this I watch them until they stop scarring me. Lets just say this red band trailer for Legion has been playing over and over for the past couple of days and it still sticks with me. I’m not a big horror/terror/gore fan but I’m not really sure if Legion fits into any of these categories. The reason why I’m having trouble deciding to watch or not is actually quite layered. First up, I’m not a huge Paul Bettany fan. I actually think his best work was from First Knight (correction since this morning as V has pointed out that it is actually Knight’s Tale – THANKS!!) when he played Chaucer. There’s also something unsettling about religious flicks, unsettling in a sense that I always have difficulty buying into the mythology because the stories are supposedly well known.
The other big reason why I’m on the fence with this is because (and I know this is going to sound really stupid and strange to a lot of people) I think I wrote this story or something eerily similar to this a couple of years ago for a comic book called Lotus. Sure this particular story never got produced, but I summed everything up in a very similar fashion in a pitch to the online community at Zeros 2 Heroes Media. The concept I was going for was to show readers that the Archangel Michael actually had a conscience and when push came to shove, he would stand up for what he believed in no matter who or what he went up against. My story never made it as far as adding specific action scenes, but judging from the trailer I don’t think Lotus or Legion would have been much different.
All’s well that ends well I guess and I hope Legion does well. If anything it’ll prove to myself that I know what I’m doing with this whole creative writing thing

I watched this trailer last night and thought it looked good. Is it really Michael? I’m noticing minor details which would make it controversial.
