Diverting My Attention
May 12th
Last night was like breaking up and then getting back together with someone – like 5 times during one period… Because of this, I really don’t want to talk about it. On the flip side, my jersey is still nameless.
Onto something that will keep my mind occupied for a little while.
Tonight marks the very first season finale of Fringe!!!! I’m not one for spoilers, but I am part of the Fringe Facebook Group (kind of lame I know….) and I’ve seen some of the released images of tonight’s finale. I’ll be very interested in seeing Belly (William Bell) as he More >
Kyle Wellwood – I Hate You

But I love the Canucks.
It is because of this I am willing to sacrifice everything I stand for (the little pride I have, that ounce of self respect, and that dash of self esteem) and make you a deal. I own a nameless Canucks Retro Jersey and if you and the Canucks can make it to the Stanley Cup Finals I will put number 42 on the back and wear it for the entire series. As witnessed by my friend Gary, this is a real offer and if said proposition comes true, he will take a photo and I will personally More >
What I’ll Miss The Least About My Job
May 11th
So my contract gig is coming to an end – I’m into the final 2 weeks (it actually could be the final week but I’m not sure right now…. Long story), and after thinking about what has gone on here from the inside out I think I’ll miss the bad machine derived coffee the least. Every morning for the past 4 months I’ve tried to digest this sludge and I think my liver has taken more of a beating than when I worked at Riptown…
Appetizing?
With automated, well, everything in this coffee machine I shouldn’t be surprised that the quality is More >

Beating Up Sympathy Like A Heavy-Bag

If anyone out there had been following my Twitter feed yesterday then you already know that the company I am currently contracting for is not in good shape. To put bluntly, they really got what they deserved. I’ve worked in some pretty confusing places before, but after working here (my contract ends in 2 weeks) I’ve really begun to understand the importance of competent leadership. When all is said and done – meaning I cash my final cheque – I’ll go into some specifics, but in short I knew this place wasn’t going anywhere from the moment I stepped through More >
What Am I Going To Do When TV Ends This Season?
May 6th
Last night I came to a realization. Sitting at home in front of my TV in my regular ass-groove, I realized that the next two weeks are going to be the last two weeks of original network television for this season! I’m not one for reruns so I probably won’t be rushing home to check out previous episodes of anything and May marks finale month. I’ve been pretty loyal over the years and every once in a while I’ve picked up a new show to follow, but at this time every season I’m always at a bit of an entertainment More >
