Weekend Plague Results in Movie Marathon
Mar 16th
I love living with someone. The moment the other person seems to be getting over a sickness, it is just some natural occurrence that it gets passed onto you right? So depending on how efficient everyone’s immune systems are, each disease will float around the house for twice the time. Well, that’s what happened to me this weekend when I got the tickle in the back fo my throat, but being the model employee guy that I am, I decided to stay in all weekend and kill it before I missed any work.
So how would one go about doing this? I More >
Oh Snap – Re5ident Evil Drops Today
Mar 13th
I tried to reserve my copy at Best Buy this morning but apparently they don’t reserve anything that has been advertised in a flyer – DAMMIT. Right now my only hope is a friend of mine who will be going to the store in about an hour – and they’ve only got 65 copies left….
Okay, okay – I’m a big video game nerd (or at least at this moment), but I’ve been waiting for this game to drop for a while now. I followed the story of Resident Evil since the beginning, but this will be my first venture into the actual More >
Watched Watchmen, Watched My Watch

Thrillhouse and his favorite comic
Morning kids,
Stayed up a little late last night and caught a 9PM showing of Watchmen at the local Googleplex of Theaters out in the burbs. I knew it was going to be a marathon, but I seriously don’t think I’ve ever had to pee so badly in my entire life. Zach Snyder should issue a warning to go up on screen about 15 minutes before the movie starts to make sure everyone in the theatre has emptied their bowels.
There was a movie too and this will be the shortest (and therefore BEST) review you’ll read about More >

Writing in a Wired Voice
When I first started out in interactive writing my original plan was to develop my skills to the point where people/clients could rely on me for anything in text form. I really wanted to explore everything from ad writing to help content and to a point – become that go-to guy for anything and everything interactive.
Well – it worked.
Combine that with my lack of financial knowledge and the fact that I really don’t care about cash beyond the mortgage and I get roped into some pretty amazing things.

Another Trailer… Yup its UP!
Mar 9th
Pixar looks to have done it again. Their latest feature Up! has been hitting the trailer wire for a while now, but they have just recently released a new one that introduces a new character. In the past, Pixar has tackled issues with the environment, the family dynamic and even the ocean, but with this new story it looks like they’ll be venturing into new territory. Up! looks to focus on (for lack of a better term) old people…
I’m a big fan of Pixar’s work, but for me it’s mostly been about the shorts they create (and clean up the Oscars More >
Yup… I’m a nerd and this is why
Mar 6th
Morning kids,
I got this in my Inbox this morning and it was a better shock to the system than the sludge I call coffee here in the office. No, it’s not some kind of report, or screen shot of a design sample. It’s not an executive decision that will change the face of the company. A friend of mine did not send me pictures of some Hollywood starlet accidentally showing off some nipple. This is way more important. This is something that I think everyone should experience at least once today (cause I’ve watched it like 4 times already and More >
Usually its fun when your neighborhood is in the news…
Mar 5th
Neo...Burnaby?
Remember when you were like 7 and you would run to the window when you heard sirens in hopes of catching a glimpse of a fire truck or a police car? Or when some weird neighbor would cut out local newspaper clippings of pretty much anything that happened within a 6 block radius of your home? My how things change as we get older.
When I made the decision to move back to the burbs, one of the draws was the low crime rate and the fact that suburbs are generally family-oriented living complexes where the danger level hardly rises above More >
From the Wizards Den

Wizard Defense
Morning kids!
Rumor has it that a lot of people have been playing Wizard Defense lately and the leaderboards are starting to fill up! Thanks to those who have tried it and even more thanks to those who have lowered their productivity levels because of it. This week I’m going to talk a little bit about the story of Wizard Defense.
This isn’t the “Making of,” story, but rather the little tale that many (most?) people skip over as they wait for the next level to load. The quick version is this:
A long time ago (but not in a galaxy far far More >
