Office Life – Again….

My ability to empathize with this image is scary.

So all 2 of your that follow the Bloated Penguin (thanks mom and that creepy guy who stares at my picture in the About section) know that I’ve actually bitten the bullet and gone back to a 9-5 job.

BTW – if anyone knows the emoticon for “well… fuck” that would be great.

Anyways, I’ve started working at Sage software where I’ve been tasked write… wait for it…. HELP CONTENT FOR ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE. I know, coming from an online gambling background this is kind of like the Arctic to my sunny beach on Cabo. A few observations about the workforce so far.

There are way too many people in this world with the same name. Sage employs what seems like 1000 people named Chris or Kris or Christopher.

I’m pretty sure everyone there thinks I know what I’m doing. Joke is totally on them.

Water cooler conversations have been replaced with Water Filter conversations.

Cubicles are not sound proof.

So those are my initial thoughts upon going back to the workforce. It kind of feels like my second stint in Nam or something. Not too happy about going back, but I’m going to try and make the best of it.
