Fantasy GM’s Giddy With Pannun

First year 49er QB Taj Pannun has been making secondaries look like swiss cheese in his rookie season. I just got back from an icy trip to Seattle where I was greeted by this event on the way into town.
This actually took place on Denny Way – about 2 blocks away from where I was staying. By the time we left in the morning it was all cleared up, but jeez, who tries to drive a packed Greyhound down a road with 4 inches of ice. And who would follow?

So after a bit of a hiatus and some thinking about what my next story is going to be about, I’ve finally figured it out. I want to write something that I need to really stretch out and learn about. I’m not exactly an expert on anything, so that leaves the door wide open. So after much thinking, some sleeping, and more thinking, I figured out a thematic breakdown of what good story for me to write will be.

Being a Vancouverite today is a special day. The Canucks will officially be retiring the number 16 in honour of Trevor Linden. Right now I’m listening to the Team 1040 where Rick Ball is recounting his best Linden moment. I’m going to steal his idea and do the same for today’s post.

Parking Stalkers

I just got off the phone with Diamond Parking after being on hold for almost an hour. These people are ridiculous. Here’s my situation:
I was issued a ticket in October for parking in a FREE Diamond Parking lot and “WALKED TOWARDS BOSTON PIZZA”
First of all, I didn’t know I could get a parking violation for walking. Secondly, the only way someone would know this is if they were watching me. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I don’t like it when people watch what I do – all the time. And then to cap it all off I am More >

San Fran was a blast! I’ve been before so I had a chance to avoid the super-touristy spots and focus on the places that Fromers doesn’t profile. Ate at a great Italian restaurant, drank at a few hip spots and found a few nice vinyl toy shops.
