Welcome Back Brian Fuller
For those of you who have no idea what the title of this post means, Brian Fuller IS Heroes. You know,that show on NBC that everyone was talking about 2 years ago, then forgot about and are suddenly talking about it again. Or for you people truly living in a cave, that show with the chunky Japanese guy…
Anyways, Brian Fuller was once the main scribe behind the series for the first season. Although series creator Tim Kring actually believes he had a hand in creating the drama behind the first season, I’m pretty sure it was some kind of phycological breakdown that caused it. Brian fuller garnered so much respect for his work on the series that ABC offered him his own show, Pushing Daisies. Bad titles aside, Pushing Daisies is/was a brilliant piece of television. Fuller added dramatic tension, comedy and one of the greatest colour palletes to a great concept and… Nobody watched.
So Fuller returns to Heroes to literally save the series in the second half of the third season and I’m probably the most excited. What’s that saying? Oh yeah – SAVE THE SCRIPT, SAVE THE SHOW.
RIP Pushing Daisies, but something tells me there is some silver lining.
